Many words come to mind when imagining an experience at The Right. Fun is not one of them. Especially when the wind’s up like in the above clip and chandeliers resembling waterfalls are falling from the roof.

“We knew it was going to be windy,” Zac Haynes tells MSW. “I went down with the intentions of kite surfing it but my lines got too tangled and things didn’t work out for it on this day. But even if it’s super windy the face is still clean and it draws so hard it still barrels. We all just love going down whenever it might be breaking just to get out there and surf it. It’s such a fun place to surf and there is always the chance of a couple of bombs.”
