The More Things Change from Patagonia on Vimeo.

This documentary from Nathan Myres, featuring Gerry Lopez, Rob Machado and David Rastovich, looks at the changes of Uluwatu and how efforts are being made to preserve the wave Lopez first surfed in 1974. Lopez talks story on his pioneering days in Bali when he fabled Balinese wave was pristine, magical, and empty. Last year Gerry returned to Uluwatu 40 years later to find it bustling, developed, and a different scene. After a week of surfing and yoga, however, Gerry tapped into a spirit of place that will endure.
